Barsatein off air date: Barsaatein Mausam Pyaar Ka has remained in the headlines ever since rumours about the show going off air surfaced on the internet. The show starring Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon was launched with a bang in July 2023. It replaced Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parar's much-loved Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.

Filmibeat can officially confirm that Barsatein is going off air next year on Sony TV. "The channel will rejig the programming with the launch of new shows in January and February 2024. While Shrimad Ramayan will telecast its first episode on January 1, Mehndi Wala Ghar will go on air mid-January," our source quipped.

"Contrary to the rumours about Barsatein ending due to Kushal Tandon's unprofessionalism, the show is under the scanner due to low TRPs. After a good start, somehow the romantic drama lost the plot and witnessed a drop in numbers. This is the reason why Barsatein is expected to go off air," the khabri added.

Filmibeat spoke with two sources to verify the news about the show going off air. While the last episode date has not been confirmed, the channel is expected to pull the plug due to low ratings.

WILL MEHENDI WALA GHAR REPLACE BARSATEIN SERIAL?

There's a buzz that Karan Mehra starrer Mehndi Wali Ghar will replace Barsatein. "Can confirm that Mehndi Wala Ghar will launch in the last week of January while Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai will be the next big launch in February 2024. The time slot of Mehndi Wala Ghar is not confirmed but it is said to be replacing Barsatein. There has been an internal discussion among the programming team. Ramayan is said to air one-hour episodes till the show for 9:30pm is available for launch," another source quipped.
