Yeh Hai Chahatein new leads: And the cat is finally out of the bag! After weeks of speculations, it has been finally confirmed that Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi's hit show is taking a generation. Adding a new twist in tale, the makers have decided to introduce a time jump in Yeh Hai Chahatein.

However, the time jump is not limited to months but years. YHC will witness a huge leap following which Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra will make an exit from the show. While Sargun's track will immediately end after the leap is introduced, Abrar will stay for some time to pave way for the new storyline.

We earlier informed you that Banni Chow Home Delivery star Pravisht Mishra will play the male lead in the show after the generation leap. It has been officially confirmed that the TV heartthrob will step into Abrar Qazi's show in Yeh Hai Chahatein.

The actor, who was last seen in BCHD opposite Ulka Gupta, will soon start the shoot for the show. Interestingly, this is his second show with Star Plus as a lead.

While names like Niyati Fatnani approached for Yeh Hai Chahatein, it was Shagun Sharma, who bagged the role. The actress, who was last seen in Harphoul Mohini, will essay the new female lead in the hit daily soap.
