Something similar is going to happen in Yeh Hai Chahatein. The creative team has planned a generation leap to introduce freshness in the track and keep the fans engaged. Well, with leap comes a new flavour but the actors often leave the show.

If the recent buzz is to be believed, Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi's much-loved drama will also take a 20-year leap. Speculations are rife that the two popular stars will quit the show after the leap track is introduced.

According to a report in India Forums, Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra will make an exit from Yeh Hai Chahatein after the makers start the shoot of the leap track. While Sargun will leave the show once the leap is introduced, Abrar will be part of a few episodes to give a build-up to the new characters, the report in the portal added.

New Actors To Join Show?

Yeh Hai Chahatein will reportedly witness the entry of several new actors after the leap. The late night drama is expected to take a time jump in the upcoming weeks. Although there's no official confirmation, gossip mills suggest that the auditions for the new leads have already started.

Yeh Hai Chahatein is the spin-off of Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel-starrer Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The show was launched in December 2019 at 10:30pm on Star Plus. It has been entertaining the viewers for over three years now. At a time when many shows have failed to grab eyeballs in the late night slot, YHC has performed well in terms of TRPs, often securing a spot in list of top five shows.
