Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai twist: Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod's show has witnessed a huge change from Monday (November 6). The daily soap, which airs on Star Plus, took a giant leap as the makers wanted to bring freshness to the storyline. After weeks of speculation, Rajan Shahi confirmed last month that a new season of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai would be introduced soon.

TV buffs were eagerly waiting to know who would play the new leads in YRKKH after the leap. On November 6, the first episode of the fourth generation premiered on Star Plus. Samridhi Shukla and Shehzada Dhami have entered YRKKH as the new leads. While Samridhii Shukla is seen as Abhira (Akshara and Abhinav's daughter), Shehzada is playing the role of Armaan in the hit serial.

"The casting team and the creative team liked Samridhi's audition for Yeh Rishta. She suits the bill perfectly for the show and is not overexposed on television just like Shivangi Joshi and Pranali Rathod, when they were roped in for YRKKH. Instead of dragging the storyline further, the makers thought of introducing a leap and hence, Pranali-Harshad will make an exit from the serial. Samridhi's acting chops and her innocence were big factors in bagging her the meaty role in a show like YRKKH" a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

The makers have planned a big twist for the audience that will leave them shocked.

NEW ENTRY IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI

While Abhira and Akshara are living their lives peacefully in Mussoorie, a negative character is leaving no stone unturned to cause trouble for them. We are talking about Yuvraj. He is the main villain of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, who will only create thorns for Akshara and Abhira as he is keen to marry him.

From arranging cylinders to visiting Akshara in the court and surprising her with flowers, Yuvraj did everything to get in the good books of Abhira and Akshara. However, Akshara gave him a warning in her own way, asking him to tell his father to focus on his son.

Yuvraj promised to bring the 'baand baaja' to the wedding mandap, hinting at his dirty intentions of marrying Abhira.
