Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai twist: After several weeks of speculations, Star Plus and Rajan Shahi have officially announced the new season of YRKKH. The hit show will witness a generational leap as the makers are gearing up to introduce the new pair Abhira and Armaan. Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami will take over the charge from Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda and maintain the legacy of the daily soap.

Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda, who won hearts as Akshara and Abhimanyu respectively, will bid adieu to their hit serial. The official Instagram handle of Star Plus has unveiled the new promo that introduced the new cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Samridhi Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Shivam Khajuria and Pratiksha Honmukhe will be seen in the respective characters of Abhira, Armaan, Rohit and Ruhi after the leap.

There will be a massive twist in Akshara and Abhinav's daughter Abhira's life as she will get married to Armaan. Why will his family not accept their marriage is the main question. Armaan and Abhira's lives will be affected by their wedding as they will have to deal with the consequences of their union. It remains to be seen what will be the fate of Abhira, Armaan, Rohit and Roohi as their relations will be entangled with each other.

SAMRIDHI SHUKLA ON ARMAAN-ABHIRA WEDDING

Samriddhi Shukla, who will be seen as Abhira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, opened up about the differences between Abhira and Armaan. She spilled the beans on the upcoming twist in the serial, revealing an update about Armaan and Abhira's wedding.

"Abhira and Armaan are different from one another, personality-wise. Abhira is an independent girl; while Armaan has different plans for his career to embark on, but destiny has some other plans for Abhira and Armaan that the audience has witnessed in the promo. It will be intriguing to watch the twists and turns that unfold in Abhira and Armaan's lives. I am looking forward to taking on the legacy and hope the audience showers us with the same love and appreciation," Samridhi Shukla said in a statement as quoted as saying by India Forums.

Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod joined Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2021, replacing Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi as the main leads.

The leap episodes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will be available for viewing from upcoming Monday (November 6) on Star Plus.
