Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod entered the hit daily soap after the makers introduced the second generation leap in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. There's chatter in the industry that Randeep Rai might play the male lead in Yeh Rishta, replacing Harshad Chopda as the new lead. Randeep is yet to give an audition or do a mock shoot for YRKKH but yes, he is in contention to play the male lead. Things will be clear in the upcoming days," a source told Filmibeat.

Randeep Rai, who was last seen in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 opposite Niti Taylor, is yet to react to the conjecture.

The makers have released a new promo hinting at AbhiRa's end. The shocking video suggested that Abhimanyu and Abhir will die in a car accident and Akshara will be shattered following the loss. While Akshara is gearing up for her marriage with Abhimanyu, the latter is expected to meet with a car accident.

In a shocking development, Abhir will also suffer injuries as he will be sitting in the same car as Abhimanyu. Will Abhimanyu and Abhir die in a car accident? The promo has made the fans wonder if their death will lead to a major twist in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
