Krip Suri from "10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak" on the Significance of an Actor’s Look in Enhancing Performance

We've seen several iconic character looks in television and film that have left an indelible mark on audiences. From Urvashi Dholakia's Komolika to Mohit Raina's portrayal of Shivji, and on the big screen, from Poo in "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" to Alauddin Khilji in "Padmaavat," these characters have become legendary. Krip Suri, known for his roles in various negative characters, believes that a character's appearance is crucial to its impact.
Krip Suri elaborates on this, saying, "After working in the industry for so long, I've learned that as an actor, it is vital that your emotions and expressions align with the character you are portraying. Equally important is the character's appearance. As humans, we are naturally attracted to what we see, and this visual impression leaves a lasting impact. Many of us can recall at least one character whose look has stayed in our minds, creating a lasting memory."
He further adds, "When I see all my characters, I know each one has transformed me into that particular role. My audience doesn't see Krip Suri; they see the character I portray on their TV screens. In my current role as Pablo Tripathi in '10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak,' I play a strong mafia character, and his look reflects that strength. My expectations for Pablo Tripathi are high, and I'm eager to see how the audience responds to him."
