Mera Balam Thanedaar full cast: The wait is finally over. Colors channel has officially launched its new property Mera Balam Thanedaar on Wednesday (January 3). The show hit the airwaves with a blockbuster first episode, impressing the audience.

Be it the rural setting, the rustic flavour or the colourful characters, Mera Balam Thanedar has all the right ingredients for a successful show. Colors TV has joined hands with Shashi-Sumeet Productions for the show. The duo earlier gave us the hit daily soap Barrister Babu starring Pravisht Mishra and Aurra Bhatnagar.

The official Instagram handle of Colors channel released a promo to give a glimpse of the first episode. The caption for the post read, "Kuch pyaara hai inn dono ka andaaz, par jhooth ki buniyaad par juda yeh rishta kya bann paayega khaas?!"

Shagun Pandey, who was last seen in Meet-Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, is playing the male lead in Colors TV's new show. Ahead of the launch of the show, he expressed his excitement on being a part of the much-awaited daily soap.

"Mera Balam Thanedaar marks my second endeavor with COLORS, and I couldn't be more thrilled. The love story unfolds in the backdrop of Rajasthan and revolves around the lives of two individuals: a dedicated police officer and a spirited teenage girl. I will bring to life the character of our show's hero, an honest and principled IPS officer who hates lies," Shagun said in a statement as quoted as saying by IWMBuzz.

Shruti Choudhary, a new face on the block, is all set to take the audience on a roller coaster ride as Bulbul in the Colors TV show. She is essaying the lead character for the first time and is confident that she will strike a chord with the audience.

Praveena Mandal, who is a fresh face in the industry, is plauing the negative lead in Mera Balam Thanedar. The show also stars Rishi Khurana, Aastha Choudhary, Vije Bhatia, Rajendra Chawla among others.
