Namish Taneja Calls His Furry Babies His Life s Mishri

The upcoming COLORS show 'Mishri' delves into a captivating relationship drama that follows the interwoven lives of Mishri (Shruti Bisht), Vaani (Megha Chakraborty), and Raghav (Namish Taneja). Known for spreading joy and good fortune, Mishri is forced into marrying Raghav, who only consents due to his moral principles. Unwilling to burden Raghav, Mishri flees and sets out on a journey towards independence. Along the way, she meets Vaani, a modern woman who exposes her to a new world. As Mishri pursues self-reliance, Vaani embodies modernity and empowerment, while Raghav remains dedicated to his family and willing to do anything for them. In an interview with Namish Taneja, he discussed the similarities between his own life and Raghav's character and revealed who he considers the 'Mishri' in his life.

Namish Taneja on his excitement for 'Mishri'

Namish Taneja, who will portray Raghav in the forthcoming show 'Mishri,' expressed his enthusiasm: "I'm quite excited about my new show 'Mishri,' where Mishri is someone who spreads happiness and sweetness in everyone's life. I have my own 'Mishri' at home— my four furry babies. My fur babies, whom I call 'mere bacche' (my children), have brought immense positivity into my life. Since I got them, things have changed for me in a very positive way. Many times, my directors, co-actors, and others wonder if I really have four kids! In fact, their surnames are also Taneja (laughs). But yes, I consider them my 'Mishri' for the significant impact they've had on me as their pet dad."

The show is set to make its grand debut with a unique approach and heartwarming storyline that promises to lift spirits. Filmed in Mathura's cultural hub, viewers can expect an engaging experience as the creators have vividly captured the city's essence for their audience.

The intriguing question posed by the show is: "Doosron ke dilon main mithas gholne waali, apne jeevan ki kadwahat kaise mitayegi?" Don't miss 'Mishri,' premiering on 3rd July at 8:30 PM only on COLORS.
