Suhaagan Cast After Leap: Pragati Choursiya, Akshay Kharodia, Dhwani Gori To Play Leads

After captivating audiences with Bindiya, Payal, and Krishna's tale, COLORS' Suhaagan leaps 20 years into the future, unveiling a storm of emotions. The new promo explores Swara’s life, daughter of Bindiya and Krishna, and Dhwani, daughter of Sudha, who became Swara’s mother figure. Pragati Choursiya plays Swara, Akshay Kharodia stars as Vedaant, and Dhwani Gori portrays Dhwani.

Swara loses her speech and parents as a child, with Dhwani stepping in as her voice. Their bond appears strong, like a well-choreographed Kathak duet. However, Dhwani’s true intentions surface, as she vows to take all that belongs to Swara. Will Swara reclaim her voice, or will Dhwani's plans succeed?

Swara’s Journey

Pragati Choursiya, playing Swara, shares, “The audience’s love and support for 'Suhaagan’ has been incredible. Swara is a kind-hearted soul who lost her parents and voice in her formative years. To portray Swara authentically, I’ve been learning sign language. Even during the promo shoot, communicating through gestures was challenging. Expressions must convey more than dialogue. Collaborating with COLORS again is thrilling, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

Dhwani’s Character

Dhwani Gori, portraying Dhwani, states, “Joining 'Suhaagan’ has been exhilarating. I play Dhwani, an antagonist who is materialistic and conniving. This is my second collaboration with COLORS after 'Molkki.' I’m grateful to the channel for this lead debut in 'Suhaagan.’ I hope viewers embrace and enjoy my portrayal of Dhwani.”

Vedaant’s Role

Akshay Kharodia, playing Vedaant, says, “Joining COLORS in the lead role of Vedaant in 'Suhaagan’ is an honour. Vedaant balances traditions and modernity. He is a cultured young man who returns home after studying abroad. Though worldly experiences have broadened his views, he remains rooted in traditions.
