Television czarina Ekta Kapoor forayed into digital media and has already delivered many hits like The Test Case, Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat, Haq Se and Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai. She is currently riding high as she is juggling between multiple projects across various mediums. Recently, the producer launched a new web series Home that stars popular actors like Supriya Pilgaonkar, Annu Kapoor and others. Now, the producer is all set to introduce another web series.
Interestingly, Ekta's favourite character, Ishima (Divyanka Tripathi's character on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein) will be making her debut in the digital medium!

Ekta took to Twitter to announce her new web series. She wrote, "Ok since ppl got it! An official statement! A love story between two chefs! That shared pain betrayal a past and the love for FOOD!most love stories end in a kitchen this started in one @dorisdey209 @jaya_misra." - (sic)

Speculations about Divyanka being part of the show started doing the rounds after Divyanka commented on Ekta's post. While sharing pictures of her family and friends, Divyanka had revealed what 'Home' meant to her.

Ekta’s New Web Series Is A Mature Love Story
Regarding the new web series, a source was quoted by IE as saying, "The show will be a mature love story. It will be an emotional tale and will also have a tinge of comedy. Both Ekta and Divyanka are quite excited to start this new journey. Once the male lead is confirmed, the show will go on floors. It's expected to launch by end of the year. Popular author Jaya Misra will pen the story for Ekta."
Is Yeh Hai Mohabbatein Going Off Air!
It is also being said that Divyanka's television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein might go off air in October, 2018. Well, we wonder whether the show is really going off air or will Divyanka shoot for the web series simultaneously while shooting for YHM!
