"Everybody is demanding season three. When season one came to an end, there was a demand for season two and now, viewers are clamouring for season three. The fans don't want the series to end, people are in love with the characters and want to know what will happen with Kavya and Viraj. Wherever I am going, people have told me that they have loved the passionate and thriller lover story which is based on hostage and Stockholm syndrome. Viewers are getting interested in the concept and it feels great to know that they are looking forward to a new season," Donal told Filmibeat.

The Bigg Boss 15 contestant said that audience's demand and availability of dates will play a key role in the announcement of the third season. The tinsel town diva is ready for a fresh season, stating that she is lucky to feature in a successful show like Tu Zakhm Hai 2.

"I don't know when you can expect the third season, it all depends on the demand of the viewers and our availability. Everyone wants to see more of Viraj and Kavya as the duo has earned a huge fanbase on the internet. I would love to do season three. For an actor nothing can be bigger than the love of the audience. Zakhm Hai 2 is already one of the most-watched shows on OTT. The first season also turned out to be a huge success and I feel happy that we are able to deliver our best. I am excited that I chose such a great script on OTT," she added.
