Gashmeer Mahajani is the man of the hour. Be it television, OTT or films, the talented artist is ruling the roost on all platforms. While he is slaying it as Armaan Oberoi in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, his performance in the web series Tu Zakhm Hai 2 has impressed the critics and audience alike. The Marathi Mulga is ready to roar on the silver screen with newer projects. As his recent series TZH 2 emerged as a massive hit in the web space, Gashmeer interacted with Filmibeat over a cup of coffee and revealed a lot.

The response to Tu Zakhm Hai has been phenomenal as the web series has received love from all the corners. When asked how does it feel, Gashmeer Mahajani told Filmibeat, "I'm pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming response to Season 2 of Tu Zakhm Hai. With so much content available online, I viewers generally lose patience and interest after the 5-month gap between seasons. But the love and appreciation we've received have exceeded our expectations."

He added, "Season 1 set the stage, and Season 2 takes it up a notch. We're humbled by the response and it motivates us to continue pushing the boundaries of storytelling."

Considering the buzz and respond to Tu Zakhm Hai, we asked Gashmeer if a season three is on the cards. The Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 star made it clear that he is open to the idea of a potential new season. He added that the makers have to align their dates according to his scheduled as he will be shooting for back-to-back projects and promoting his upcoming Marathi film.

"Although the decision to greenlight Tu Zakhm Hai Season 3 lies with the MX Player's team, I can say that my calendar for 2023 is already packed with exciting projects. After completing Tere Ishq Me Ghayal in May 2023, I have a Marathi pan-India film, a Hindi web show, and a Marathi biopic lined up till early 2024. If the producers of Tu Zakhm Hai Season 2 plan to make Season 3 and align their dates with my availability, I'm open to the idea," Gashmeer quipped.
