Actor and singer Monica Dogra is basking in the glory of her recently released web series The Married Woman. Her performance as a free-spirited yet vulnerable woman Peeplika Khan has won her several praises from critics and audiences alike. Recently, the actor shared a heartfelt post wherein she recalled her initial struggling days in the industry, while expressing gratitude for the success of The Married Woman.
Talking about the same, Monica Dogra stated how she wished that her current self could assure her older self that everything will be all right. She added how she spent so many years in despair when she was replaced at the last minute in some of her projects or when films she had shot for never saw the light of day.
The Break Ke Baad singer stated that many actors like her will relate to the inadequacy, which she had to face during this phase. However, she went on to say how she kept at her craft. Monica mentioned how she kept on learning, creating and expanding, and breathing into patience.
Monica further mentioned how The Married Woman is tasting the heights of success, with the show in its third week and is amongst the top 5 watched OTT (over-the-top) shows in India. She expressed her excitement on the same and congratulated the entire team.
And finally, Monica Dogra gave advice to her fans, saying that the most important thing is to keep the faith, and have patience and perseverance. The Dhobi Ghat actor goes on to say that things eventually turn out the way they should.

Bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor, The Married Woman has been helmed by Sahir Raza and is based on the book by Manju Kapoor titled A Married Woman. The web series also stars Suhaas Ahuja and Imaaduddin Shah in pivotal roles. On March 30, Ekta Kapoor hinted at a possible season 2 of The Married Woman.
