Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actors Parth Samthaan and Pooja Banerjee, who play siblings Anurag Basu and Nivedita Basu on the show, are seen as lovers on web series Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain 2. They play the roles of Bani and Faisal in the web series. Recently, a promo of KKHH 2 was released, in which Bani and Faisal are seen kissing. This hasn't gone well with Kasautii fans. The fans condemned the makers for introducing a kissing scene in the web show, between actors who plays siblings in Ekta's another family drama.

Regarding the scene, Pooja told Spotboye, "It really feels great to receive so much love and appreciation from my fans. I am sure they will be shocked since nobody saw it coming and this is the first time they will see me kissing on screen."
