Varun Tej & Lavanya Tripathi Reception: Bride Wears Aurelian Metallic Saree; The Price Will Blow Your Minds

Lavanya Tripathi Reception Saree Price Will Blow Your Minds

Varun Tej & Lavanya Tripathi's Hyderabad Reception: The Tollywood's newest couple Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are back in town as man and wife. The couple got hitched amid families and best friends in Italy on November 1. They flew back to Hyderabad on November 4 to throw a wedding reception dinner for their Tollywood friends on November 5.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi walked hand-in-hand as newlyweds to the reception venue N Convention in Hyderabad. The couple dressed up in elegant outfits that are a total contrast. However, they looked dazzling in the sheen colours accentuated by so much bling on Lavanya's metallic saree and Varun Tej's blazer.

Lavanya Tripathi's Manish Malhotra Saree Price

Lavanya and Varun opted for designer Manish Malhotra for their wedding trousseau. Their south-Indian style typical Hindu wedding was everything about the traditional colours. But for the reception, Varun and Lavanya went all out loud.

Lavanya Tripathi's saree is designed by Manish Malhotra as well and it costs a whopping Rs 2.75 Lakh.

The same saree was earlier spotted on Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan's daughter Suhana Khan, who wore it for one of the events in Bollywood. Lavanya opted for the same saree to light up her reception decor against the backdrop of pastel flowers with a pop of colour.

For the muhurtham, Varun Tej opted for a cream-gold Sherwani with a silk dhoti, which is heavily embroidered under the guidance of ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra. To compliment him and to stand out as a gleaming bride, Lavanya Tripathi is said to have chosen a ruby red-coloured Kanchipuram silk saree, which will have a dreamy personalized veil with 'VarunLav' embroidered on it.

The wedding ritual was later followed by a grand after-party reception in which the couple changed into an electric blue embellished gown with a dramatic cape (Lavanya Tripathi), and a black Swarovski worked tuxedo (Varun) designed by Manish Malhotra again. The pictures from this reception have not come out yet.
