According to the report by News18, Kalki 2898 AD producer duo Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt have confirmed the Kalki 2898 AD sequel at The Moscow Film Festival and stated that the sequel will go on floors by January or February, 2025. Talking about the central character of the movie, they also revealed that this part will primarily focus on Kamal Haasan's character, Yaskin's character, who is the antogonist of the movie. Furthermore, it is also revealed that the film will take three years to complete.

On the other hand, Prabhas has also spilled major beans saying that the sequel itself will have two parts, and some of the main portions of the film are shot taking over more than 20 days in the earlier schedule.
