Salaar 2 Update: Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's Highly Anticipated Sequel Gears Up For Filming – Details

Salaar 2 Update: Prabhas joined forces with director Prashanth Neel for the first time under the banner of Hombale Films in 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire,' which was released in 2023. The film, produced with a budget of ₹270 crore, grossed approximately ₹617 crore globally and ended with a climax, setting the stage for a sequel. Since then, speculation about "Salaar" Part 2 has been rampant.
According to recent reports, "Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam" is scheduled to begin filming on August 10, starting with a 15-day shoot at Ramoji Film City. Reports indicate that during the production of "Salaar: Part 1," Prashanth Neel had already filmed 20% of the sequel's scenes featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj. An already constructed set at Ramoji Film City used for 'Salaar: Part 1' will serve as the starting point for "Salaar 2." Plans to shoot in June were delayed due to inclement weather and scheduling conflicts.
Further reports suggest that filming for "Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam" will span eight months starting in August, with Hombale aiming for a late 2025 release. Prashanth Neel has reportedly committed to directing two major projects: "Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam" and "Dragon," starring NTR Jr., scheduled for 2024 and 2025, respectively. He has assured producers of adhering to the planned schedules for both films, confident in delivering a seamless production experience with these top-tier actors.
