MAD Square Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Kalyan Shankar, who made Mad movie surprised Tollywood with his content and conviction. The movie went on to becoming one of the highly successful films ever made and the filmmaker is now back with a sequel titled MAD Square. With the main leads reprising their roles in this youthful comedy drama, the makers brought the movie to theatres on March 28 along with Nithiin's Robinhood movie. The advance bookings for MAD Square movie are higher than Robinhood and the movie's positive response is going to fuel the opening weekend collection.

After the film's release, movie buffs and critics who mostly gave a thumbs-up to the movie found that the film has some moments where the comedy is over-the-top and forced rather than coming from the story. The first half is better than the second one, and several moments fall and rise. The characters of Vishnu Oi (Laddu) and his father, played by Muralidhar Goud, stand out apart from the leading trio. There is no solid story for the movie and no purpose as such but on the whole, MAD Square succeeds in entertaining the viewers by evoking good laughs.

MAD Square Synopsis
The sequel to Mad movie, MAD Square starts with the infamous trio Damodar (Sangeeth Shobhan), Ashok (Narne Nithiin), and Manoj (Ram Nithin)'s senior Laddu (Vishnu Oi)'s marriage. The three friends set out to take Laddu on a bachelor's trip before he gets hitched. They start a thrilling ride to Goa filled with obstacles, surprises, twists, and a hell lot of drama.

The sequel's narrative begins with Laddu's character arriving at the Tihar Central Jail where the other inmates get visibly shaken upon his arrival. A few of them gang up and strike up a conversation with Laddu about his past and the reason for his jail time. Laddu begins to sorrowfully begin his story consisting of Manoj, Ashok, and Damodhar who want to give him a memorable time before his wedding but turn it into a disaster. As they embark on an adventurous journey to Goa, several people, situations, and challenges unfold with chaos and surprises.

On its day of release, which was one of the biggest openers for any release, setting the tone for the film's following weekend, the MAD Square movie is roughly estimated to make over Rs 3.59 Crore from India alone. The figures keep changing every two hours and the overall collection will be updated on the following day.

MAD Square Occupancy Ratio

The movie's advance bookings were crazy both in India and overseas. The occupancy ratio for the morning shows according to the Sacnilk website is 47.74% and by afternoon, it soared to 56.61%.

MAD Square Digital Streaming Platform

The post-theatrical and satellite rights of MAD Square movie are jointly bought for a hefty price by the Zee Studios. This coming-of-age comedy drama will stream on ZEE 5 OTT platform and will go on air on Zee Telugu and Zee Cinemalu television channels. The film's theatrical run will decide the dates of MAD Square movie's OTT release date, which will be announced later.

MAD Square was bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsy and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners. Srikara Studios presented the film. Thaman composed the film's entire background score.
