The movie, which is inching closer to become the highest Indian grosser of all time, has minted decent amount on New Year's Eve. However, it has already surpassed the collection on day 28, i.e., New Year's day.

Pushpa: The Rule aka Pushpa 2 has minted Rs. 8.44 Cr as of 5pm on day 28, according to the early updates of Sacnilk. The movie has seen a significant increase in collection considering it is just the box office numbers from the first-half of the day. On day 27, the movie earned Rs. 7.8 Cr seeing an increase of 14.71% in collection compared to day 26 when it minted Rs. 6.8 Cr.

The India nett collection of the film stands at Rs. 1180.04 Cr as of day 28 at 5pm.
