MCA - Middle Class Abbai Review
The first half of the movie is sure to provide some good relief and entertainment while the second half is not quite appealing and engaging. Go for it if you have some free time and thrive for some entertainment as the MCA is not a must watch flick.
On the whole, MCA is a routine commercial entertainer which does not have any novelty story wise. But it is Nani’s who leads from the front and makes things interesting. His comedy, angry avatar in the second half holds the film together and saves the film from going haywire. If you ignore the predictable proceedings, Nani makes sure that MCA ends up as a one time watch this weekend.
A known story with a lot of cliches, 'MCA' takes several leaps of faith regularly in the second half. Average performances, the Vadina-Maridi equations and the rom-com track in the first half work to an extent.
MCA has a very poor script that it will leave us wondering how Nani and Sai Pallavi accepted to be a part of it. The director takes audience for granted and simply recycles old ideas and scenes and pass it off as a new film with a catchy title. Hero coming from middle class family has nothing to do with the actual plot of the film.
