Background : Krish, who shot to fame in Tollywood through his first movie ‘Gamyam’ is all set to entertain the Telugu people with yet another movie under relatively different concept away from mundane masala products. The director who was running from pillar to post to sell the idea of ‘Gamyam’ ultimately clicked through his father’s courtesy which went on to fetch him the best director award. With these heavy expectations he has conceptualized a new theme involving five different characters with five different storylines.

Story : Vedam the first multistarrer of modern Telugu cinema has Allu Arjun, Manoj Manchu and Anushka doing three of the five important characters in this movie. In which, Allu Arjun doing the role of Cable Raju who is a cable operating boy from lower income class. Manoj Manchu plays the role of Vivek Chakravarthy a budding rock star and Anushka plays the role of a prostitute called Saroja.Manoj Bajpai and another old man do the other two important characters in the movie.

Analysis: Vedam is a movie with a format that is extremely new to Telugu films. Yes there are films like Love Actually, Crash etc. in English; Metro and Salam-E-Ishq in Hindi etc. But this is completely new to Telugu and am sure people will love it. We as stars talk about films being different, but this film will now redefine ‘different’ atleast for Telugu audiences.
