Yevade Subramanyam Review
When we talk of performances in yevade subramanya movie the first place is occupied by Director for wonderful direction and Malavika Nair facial expressions played a key role and Nani acting was fantastic in the film.
Director Ashwin came up with a different story. There is no particular genre for this film. The makers called it a happy movie, but it is more of an advebturous movie. The story line written is simple but director made it interesting and intriguing with his interesting screenplay. It is a good movie to debut as a director.
Nani gave an spellbound performance. It is wonderful to see Nani appearing in three different characters in two movie on the same day, proves his versatility as an actor. Malavika Nair made her debut and she has everything that makes as perfect Heroine.
Overall good watch in this festive weekend.
For a movie that asks questions of you, Yevade Subramanyam is surprisingly entertaining. With panoramic shots of the Himalayas, the innocent glee of the mountain folk and musings of the actors undertaking the journey, the movie rolls along like a feather left free on a velvet carpet.
It is a beautiful movie, a beautiful attempt unadulterated by the tempting crass of contemporary cinema, a throwback to all that was beautiful about Telugu filmmaking. What better time to watch than Ugadi, because Ugadi is about fresh beginnings!
Nani delivered the best performance and his dialogue delivery and expressions are mind blowing. Malavika Nair and Ritu Varma look beautiful.
The first half moves with slow pace while the second half is little bit engaging and climax will be predictable. Editing is okay. Production values are rich.
Yevade Subramanyam movie is decent watch for this festive weekend… Friendship and suspenseful adventure film….
First half of the film offers fun. Second half is about self discovery and visiting Doodh Kashi. On a whole, Yevade Subramanyam is a nice movie and you may watch it!
On the whole, Yevade Subramanyam is a coming of age film which is bound to do well in the A centers. Interesting story, well executed first half and Nani’s performance are huge assets. On the flip side, a slow second half and lack of basic entertainment will not go well with the mass audience and limit the reach of this decent film to an extent.
‘Yevade Subrahmanyam ‘ is not your average commercial entertainer. It is a movie that is rooted in philosophy, in the concepts of Dharma and self realisation. Nani deserves praise for bringing this sweet, clean and enjoyable journey of self discovery to life.
