<i>Bala</i> gets clean U

The songs of Bala directed by Govind Varaha and produced by PV Ramesh Raju with Bala and Shilpa in the lead were screened for journalists on Wednesday. Producer Ramesh Raju says, 'The film had completed the censor formalities by Tuesday and we have got a clean 'U' certificate. We are planning to release the film on October 20.' Director Govind Varaha says, 'The day I got an opportunity to direct the film, I felt more responsible than happy for getting the chance. In fact, I really felt happy when the censor board members complimented me for showing a new angle in love and lauded the film. I had a feel that I was able to fulfill the responsibility given to me by the producer Ramesh Raju and presenter Ch Ramesh. The character played by Tamil actress Vadi Vukkarasu would remain a highlight.' Hero Bala says, 'This is my second film as hero with Relax being the first one. I am eagerly waiting for the response of the audiences.' Music director Valisha-Sandeep say, 'We are very happy that there was a good response to the audio of Bala, which we did after Nee Thodu Kaavali. The audio CDs were also released into the market recently
