Bharati (India the Great) is a film which is being made to improve the discipline and patriotic spirit among children during student days. Baby Sridivya is playing the title role, while the film is being directed and produced by RS Raju on the banner of Samaikya Productions. Earlier, the same producer had bagged Nandi award for his film Nandini.

He says, 'I am making the film with the inspiration I got by bagging the Nandi award. The entire film shooting was completed but for three day patchwork. We shot the film by spending huge amounts and working hard at Kulu Manali, Rohtangi, Madi and other such places which are generally covered by heavy snow and fog. We may not be able to take such a risk for a children's film if we think commercially. But, we wanted to do justice to the story and hence we made the film with high standards.' Post-production formalities are also in progress and the producer is planning to release the film in January.

Narasimha Raju, Sampat Raj, Sashidhar, Madhavi, Apoorva and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Chandrasekhar Azad, lyrics are by Dr C Narayana Reddy, music is by TVS Raju, camera is by Sattibabu, story, screenplay, direction and production are by RS Raju.
