Ghatotkachudu in animated form

With the success of Hanuman animation film, the Sun Animatics India Pvt Ltd of Suryadevara Vinod is planning to make another animated film based on the story of Ghatotkacha. Singitham Srinivasa Rao would direct this film. It may be mentioned here that Singitham Srinivasa Rao had worked as an associate director for the then Maya Bazar featuring SV Ranga Rao in the role of 'Ghatotkacha'. This animated film would be released simultaneously in seven languages. Director Singitham Srinivasa Rao says, 'Animation works are in progress at Philippines, London, Manila, Singapore and Hyderabad. This film would definitely attract the children. We have also included several elements that could attract the elders as well.' Producer says, 'Samir penned nine songs for the Hindi version and songs recording was complete there. In Telugu, Veturi and Vennelakanti are writing the songs. As Maya Bazar was released some 50 years ago, we are coming up with the same theme in a novel way. This is 100 minutes film. We are moulding the childhood, the young age and other details of Ghatotkacha in a trendy way. It is Singitham Srinivasa Rao who is also giving the music for this film.' Ovel Mina is the animation director.
