Guru in the New Year

Mani Rathnam's much awaited movie Guru will hit the theatres at the beginning of 2007. Earlier plans were to release it in December.

Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Madhavan are playing prominent roles in this movie.

It will be released simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi. Bipasha Basu has performed an item number in this movie.

It is worth mentioning that actor Surya has lent his voice for Abhishek Bachchan in the Tamil version.

The film's music is by A.R.Rahman. Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics. The story of this film is by Suhasini Manirathnam. The cinematographer of this movie is Rajeev Menon.
