Shriya follows the idiom 'Make the hay while Sun shines'

Shriya, who entered the glamour world through modeling at Mumbai. Later, she paired up with almost all the top heroes in the Telugu film industry as heroine. However, it looks now that she is strongly believing that Tamil industry would be quite safe for her. Opportunities started waning in Telugu industry, she was restricted to guest roles and item songs. Now she got a big opportunity to play opposite Rajanikant in Sivaji directed by Shankar. It has become a big turning point for her. Now she is all praise for the unit. She claimed that her's is a variety role in that film.

Shriya further says, 'I am also learning Tamil for the purpose.' Moreover, she was booked for a film to play opposite Dhanush, nephew of Rajanikanth. With Shriya concentrating more on Tamil film industry, she had got yet another opportunity to play against another top hero Vijay in Tamil. She did not question the story, or other details of the film and simply accepted the film because Vijay was the hero. Though she restricted to Tamil industry for the time being, she is also continuing her trials in Bollywood which was her ultimate target.
