A film directed by debutant Lalith Prabhakar, who worked as an assistant with Krishnavamsi and produced by Teegala Kripakara Reddy on the banner of Sri Padmavati Art Pictures with Venu, Arthi Agarwal and Sridevi in the lead, was formally launched with the recording of songs at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad recently.
A patriotic song - 'Namaste Sada Vatsale...' scripted by Veturi was recorded under the musical direction of Ramana Ogeti. Director Lalith Prabhakar says, 'The entire film would revolve around a cell phone. Venu is playing a different and typical role in this movie. We are very happy that Sridevi and Arthi Agarwal are playing heroines after giving massive hits like Aadi Lakshmi and Andala Ramudu respectively. We are sure that the film would enthrall the audiences. The film has all kinds of elements like sentiment, comedy and suspense. Ther are five songs in the film and the regular shooting of the film would begin from December 22.'
Producer Kripakara Reddy says, 'The film has a good story and it would definitely attract all classes of audiences.'
Music director Ramana Ogeti says, 'The film would give me a break.'
It is learnt that the film is the remake of a popular Hollywood flick. Prakashraj is playing a key role in this film. Chalapati Rao, Jeeva, MS Narayana, Sudha, Chitram Sreenu, Master Lalita Bhanuprakash and others are in the cast. Presented by K Sridhara Rao, the film has dialogues by Marudhuri Raja, lyrics by Veturi, Sai Sriharsha, Peddamurthy and Venkat, camera by Prasad, while story, screenplay and direction are being handled by Lalith Prabhakar.
