Union
minister
and
director-cum-producer
Darsaka
Ratna
Dasari
Narayana
Rao
spoke
in
favour
of
small
films
at
the
100
days
celebrations
of
Aadivaram
Aadavallaku
Selavu
directed
by
Raja
Vannemreddy
and
produced
by
Leelarani
Vannemreddy.
"The
film
industry
was
born
with
small
budget
film.
My
wish
is
that
small
budget
films
should
live
long.
We
should
not
forget
small
budget
films,
though
we
rise
to
a
higher
level.
We
should
not
move
with
ego
on
the
success
of
big
budget
film
and
ignore
the
small
budget
films.
We
should
ensure
that
the
small
films
live.
One
should
completely
believe
in
the
story
while
making
movie.
It
would
definitely
become
a
big
hit.
The
live
example
for
this
principle
is
the
success
of
Aadivaram
Aadavallaku
Selavu.
The
film
was
produced
with
a
mere
Rs.96
lakhs.
But
it
collected
Rs.4
crores.
There
are
many
innovative
writers
and
directors.
I
appeal
to
all
of
them
to
come
out
with
good
stories," said
Dasari.
The
programme
was
launched
with
the
lighting
of
the
lamp
by
Smt
Jayasudha.
Jayasudha
handed
over
the
memento
to
writer
of
the
film
story
Dasari
Narayana
Rao.

Rao
and
others
handed
over
the

to

and

of
the
film
unit.
Dr
Ramanaidu
said
at
the
occasion,
"Such
films
which
had
both
entertainment
and
good
message
should
come
up
in
more
numbers.
Our
directors
and
producers
should
concentrate
on
good
subjects."
R

Murthy
also
reminded
that

Rao
made
Raja

drive

serious
point
in

entertaining
way
into
the
hearts
of
the
audiences.
