Amrita Rao in <i>Athidi</i> - confirmed!!!

Mahesh Babu's new film Athithi was launched in Hyderabad on Sunday at Padhmalaya studios.

This time around, Mahesh Babu is very particular about not repeating the Sainikudu fiasco. The entire story takes place in New Delhi. Amritha Rao, of Main Hoon Na and Vivaah fame, is making her debut in Telugu with this film. She is the heroine. There just might be a second heroine too.

The launch function was attended by Mahesh Babu's father, Krishna, director K Raghavendra Rao and others. Surendra Reddy, of Ashok fame, is going to direct this film. Mahesh Babu's elder brother, Ramesh Babu is producing the film.

Amritha Rao is going to be the heroine of another Telugu hero, but this one is going to be for a Hindi film. She is Siddharth's heroine in his new Bollywood flick.
