Ashoka Chakram gets a clean 'U'

Censor formalities too were completed for Ashoka Chakram directed by Vickey Varma and produced by Yohanan Alex under the banner of Ansi Art Creations with Ramkiran as hero and Ayesha as heroine.

Director Vickey Varma said, 'Our film deals with the friction between the police administration and the politics. Arun Pandyan has played a key police officer's role in the movie. There are nine fights and they were composed by six different fight masters. Especially the water fight at a specially erected set in Padmalaya studios would remain a highlight of the movie. Basically the film would be a mass entertainer.'

Producer said, 'Our film got a clean 'U' certificate from the Censor Board. We are planning to release the film in the first week of October'.

Ponnambalam, Vinod, Prabhakar, Sanyaj, Sairabanu, Ali and others are in the cast.
