It is common for character artistes to mimic big stars in their films. These kind of roles are generally played comedians. An example of this is characters like Pedarayudu, Aparichitudu and Chandramukhi. Now comedian Brahmanandam will mimic Rajinikanth in his new film Lakshmi Puthrudu.

The films producers are making lavish arrangements so that the scene will look as real as possible. Only for this scene the producers are spending 30 lakhs. They have even hired a helicopter for the purpose. The comedian will also mimic item girl and actress Mumaith Khan in an item song in the film.
