Classmates on April 20

Final touches are being given to Classmates. The film is directed by K Vijayabhaskar and produced by Sravanti Ravi Kishore under the Sravanti Movies banner. The lead roles in the film are being played by six actors and actresses - Sumant, Sharvanand, Sunil, Ravivarma, Sada and Kamalini Mukherjee in the lead. Producer Ravikishore says, 'Some points would be common among the classmates' lives. Our film Classmates would bring to the fore all the sour and sweet memories of one's college life and their memories of their experiences on campus. Presently post-production work is in progress. We have planned to release the film on the 20th of April .

He added, "We liked the point made in the successful Malayalam film Classmates and bought the remake rights. We took just the basic point of the film and reworked on the entire script so that it suits the Telugu audience.' Director Vijayabhaskar said, 'There was a good response to the audio which was released into the market. We are confident that the film would also be a big hit. Our film would once again prove that the audiences would always welcome novel films. The student politics, campus romance and canteen jokes would be new compared to the present kind of films being made.'
