Illayaraja composes songs for <i>Deviputrulu</i>

Deviputrulu is a Surya&Vijay film made in Tamil which has been dubbed into Telugu. It being made under the Lakshmi Balaji Cinema banner. Direected by Siddique, film has several elements to its credit like action, emotion, love and sentiment which will attract all classes of audiences. The producers said, "Director Siddique made the film as a definition of friendship.

Sahiti and Ponduri gave fantastic lyrics to suit the melodious tunes provided by Illayaraja in the original. There are six songs. Murali, Saketh, Roshini and Sravya have rendered them. The first copy is getting ready." Devayani, Vijayalakshmi, Vadivelu, Charlee, Rajiv, Sriman, Satyapriya, Saritha, Radhamani and others are in the lead cast. Dialogues are by Jayaprasad.
