Simran to play opposite Krishna Bhagawan

It is a well known fact that noted comedian Krishna Bhagawan is also turning a hero for a film John Appa Rao 40 Plus under the direction of Kuchipudi Venkat of -Modati Cinema'-fame. Earlier, the film unit planned to get Mandira Bedi as heroine for the movie. However, she could not adjust the necessary dates to the producer and hence she was replaced by Simran.

It may be mentioned here that Simran started her second innings with Okka Magaadu. Though she kept herself off from the film industry after her marriage, she returned to films after giving birth to a baby boy. The shooting of the film would begin from August. Kiran Varanasi, who had remixed the song Niluvale Vaalu Kanuladana for Lakshyam is scoring music for the movie, while Ramesh-Gopi are scripting dialogues.
