The Movie Artistes' Association (MAA) in a statement paid rich tributes to the senior artiste, producer and director Peketi Sivaram, who died at Chennai on Saturday.

MAA president K Nagababu, secretary Mallikarjua Rao says, 'Peketi Sivaram is the lone witness to all the changes that took place in the Telugu film industry, which had completed 75 years. Sivaram had entered into various departments of the film industry and showed his expertise in all the fields. Sivaram devoted seven decades of his life to the film industry. He worked as artiste, producer, director, cameraman, production designer and several other departments and proved as an all-rounder. He earned his own place in the Telugu film industry. The void left by him could not be filled by anyone else. MAA expresses its deep and heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family.' :
