Malavika prefers item numbers

The now-married Malavika is going through the kind of difficulties and cold receptions that almost all married actresses do. But since she had made it very, very clear that she has no intentions whatsoever to quit the profession, nobody is surprised that she is now back. Now, talks are on that she prefers item numbers to film roles.

She initially had problems with her managers. They were demanding huge commissions from the producers and directors who had approached her. This had discouraged many of them from giving her offers. Now, Malavika has decided to take care of her call sheets and PR works herself.

The actress has also changed her choice of films. Initially she was not that keen on concentrating exclusively on item numbers. But these days, rumors are on that she prefers them over film offers. It seems, she doesn't want to spend too much time working. Appearing in an item number gets her the same kind of money that she'd get if she stars in a film.

Also shooting of an item number will end within a week's time. She is also giving more preference to item numbers in big banner films.
