Perarasu to direct Prabhas

Perarasu, the director known for his commercial hits like Thiruppachi and Sivakasi with Vijay will enter the Telugu film world. He will direct Prabhas in his debut film in Telugu.

At present Perarasu is busy in shaping up Pazhani starring Bharath and Kajal Agarwal in the lead. Ace director Shakthi Chidambaram is producing the movie, and it is nearing its completion. Shakthi has scheduled this film for a Diwali release.

Meanwhile, Perarasu has been flooded with offers from leading stars and production houses of Tollywood. Very recently, his Thiruppachi was remade into Telugu and did well at the box office. Now Perarasu is accepting an offer from Prabhas and preparing to enter Tollywood. The shooting of the film will be launched by the second week of October.

When asked about his Telugu entry, Perarasu said: "Yes… I've accepted to direct a Telugu film by next month. Prabhas is the hero and other things including the heroine will be finalized soon. But at the same time I'm not ready to leave my foothold here. My next Tamil project will commence by the end of November."
