Munna team meets after success

The makers of Munna organised a success meet for its unit to share their happiness on its success at the box-office. Prabhas and Ileana played the lead roles in this film being directed by Vamsy Paidipalli and produced by Dil Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.

Speaking on the occasion, producer Dil Raju said, "Our film is a commercial hit. The rock solid collections even after Monday proved the success of the film. The collections trend remained stable by Wednesday. Our aim was to make Munna an out and out commercial film. It had a divided talk during the first two days of its release, making us think if we had done anything wrong. But the collections remained stable at the end of the week irrespective of the talks. It is a hit film. We reached mass audiences in the first week and then the youth in the second week. Now, family audience too have started coming to the theatres to watch it."

Director Vamsy also said,"Munna is quite different from my earlier films. Hence, those who came to the theatres with some expectations on the lines of my earlier films felt disappointed. That is why the film earned a divided talk. But the novelty, the new look of Prabhas and performance of Prakash Raj attracted the youth. The revenue collections is a proof of its success. I thank Dil Raju for giving me an opportunity as a director." Writers Koratala Siva and Ravi also said that the film has good dialogues. They added that it would be one of the best movies of the summer.
