The much-awaited film of the year Shivaji has been making news since it was launched more than a year ago. About 18 months into its making, it has taken a different shape now. People are waiting with bated breath to see their favourite star on the big screens again, and this time he is going to romance with Shreya. Now, people don't have to worry because the film is releasing on June15. And Rajini will go places, as Shivaji will be released in over 2,500 theatres worldwide.

This Tamil film is being dubbed into Telugu with the same title and the makers are doing their best to cater to the taste of the Telugu audience. It will be released simultaneously in Telugu and in countries like Japan, Thailand, Singapore, USA and Australia. Its music scored by music maestro A.R.Rahman is already rocking the music lovers. Shankar is the director of the film and AVM Productions banner produces it.

Going by the pre-release hype and hoopla, it looks like Shivaji will create history. But the real colour will come out only when it hits the theatres two weeks from now. So, keep watching!
