Rajini re-dubbed his voice in Shivaji

Superstar Rajinikanth was unhappy after watching the rushes of Shivaji. He thought of re-doing dubbing for his voice as he thought some feel was missing in it. He expressed this opinion to director Shankar, who immediately accepted it and gave one more dubbing to his voice. After doing the re-dubbing, he said that it gave him immense satisfaction.

Later Rajnikanth left for Himalayas. It is very common for Rajnikanth to spend a few weeks in Himalayas in a spiritual way. Chances are bright for the release of Shivaji on May 17. In this backdrop, Rajnikanth might return to Chennai from Himalayas after spending only two weeks. The film had high expectations and producer Bellamkonda Suresh has purchased the Telugu dubbing rights by paying a fancy price. It features Shriya in the female lead role.
