RR Movie Makers' film begins shoot

The shooting of a film directed by Ravi C Kumar and produced by Venkat on the banner of RR Movie Makers with Nithin and Mamata Mohandas in the lead was launched at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad recently. Puri Jagannath gave the clap, while Dr D Ramanaidu switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of SV Krishna Reddy.

Later addressing the media, presenter K Achireddy said, 'This is the seventh movie on RR Movie Makers' banner. Our producer Venkat started the banner with a film called 'The End' which calls for utmost social responsibility. The film had bagged a commendation certificate from the President of India, and also bagged an award announced by the State government, in the category of National Integration. Another film directed by the same director Ravi C Kumar, 'Samanyudu' remained a biggest hit film on our banner. The film was not only a commercial hit but also bagged several awards from several cultural organisations. Now we have launched another film with the same director with a perfect script and it is almost a tailor-made subject for Nithin. Our producer is giving complete freedom to all of us. We are confident that we could make it a very good movie.'

Director Ravi C Kumar said, 'I prepared the subject by taking enough time after the release of Samanyudu. We are providing good entertainment through this movie and at the same time giving good message. We also prepared two tunes under the music direction of Chakri. Though the producer opined that the film would exceed the estimated budget, he gave us a green signal to proceed with the subject and that had given us a good courage in continuing with the movie.'

Co-producer V Suresh Reddy said, 'The regular shooting would begin on October 3. We are planning to complete the film in four schedules to be held in October, November, December and January. We are making efforts to release the film during the summer next year.'

Asuthosh Rana, MS Narayana, Tanikella Bharani, Raghubabu, Krishna Bhagawan and others are in the cast. Cinematography is by Vijay C Kumar, music is by Chakri, editing is by KV Krishna Reddy, while art is by Venkateswara Rao.
