Yes, the makers of Shivaji have decided to offer free tickets to all the journalists in Chennai. The move is seen as a kind PR exercise to garner good publicity for the film. This Shankar directed film features superstar Rajinikanth and Shreya in the lead roles.

While the norm for big budget films is to offer free tickets to select media personnel, the producers of Shivaji have decided to offer four tickets each to every journalist. The idea is simple. The media people can watch the movie along with all the family members. They seem to think this will lead to good talk in the media. So, on June 15 you can find lots of press persons along with their families in the cinema halls.
