This
years
SVR
Award
was
awarded
to
veteran
actor
Krishnamraju
at
a
function
at
Ravindra
Bharati
in
Hyderabad
recently.
The
SVR
Award
was
instituted
in
honour
of
the
late
actor
SV
Ranga
Rao.
Anardha,
a
cultural
organization,
organized
the
function.
State
minister
Kanna
Lakshmi
Narayana
presented
a
golden
bracelet
to
Krishnamraju
on
behalf
of
the
organization.
Speaking
on
the
occasion,
Kanna
Lakshmi
Narayana
said,
"SV
Ranga
Rao's
name
will
be
kept
alive
as
long
as
the
Telugu
film
industry
continues
to
exist.
It
would
be
wrong
to
say
that
the
Government
has
failed
to
recognize
the
great
actor.
We
will
approach
the
Chief
Minister
regarding
this
issue.
We
will
plead
with
him
to
see
to
it
that
the
great
actors
memories
are
kept
alive."
During
the
event,
Brahmanandam
enthralled
the
audience
with
his
inimitable
style
of
comedy.
He
mimicked
SVR
and
made
the
audiences
laugh.
Later,
Brahmanandam
said,
'Both
SVR
and
Krishnamraju
were
distinct
in
their
own
styles.'
Sahaja
Kavi
MS
Reddy
said,
'Krishnamraju
is
a
great
artiste
and
at
the
same
time
is
a
humanitarian.'
Responding
to
his
felicitation,
Krishnamraju
says,
'We
have
always
believed
that
thought
acting
is
our
profession
and
have
worked
with
dedication.
That
is
why
we
were
able
to
earn
a
place
in
the
hearts
of
audiences.'

in
the
function.
Later,
a

about
SVR's,
designed
by

was
