In almost all her interviews, Tamanna did not fail to mention that she was only 13 when she made her debut as the heroine of a Hindi film. Soon, she shifted to Telugu and Tamil. So you can safely assume that she still is in her teens. But she showing wisdom and mental maturity far beyond her age when it comes to selecting films.

Ever since competition in Tollywood skyrocketed, the actress has decided to shift her attention to Tamil and she is doing pretty well out there. She was the initial choice as heroine for Tamil actor Sharath Kumar's new film Nam Naadu. The film happens to be the Tamil remake of Lion, which is being remade in Telugu as Evadaithey Naakenthi.

When Tamanna came to know that the film was very politically based, she decided to refuse the offer for the simple reason that she didn't want to get into politics. She said that she isn't interested in getting herself involved with any political party or politics-based films so early in her career.

The offer has now gone to a heroine from Kerala.
