Simran to try her luck in direction

Simran was a top heroine in Telugu film industry as well as Tamil film industry. However after her marriage, when she tried to make a come back, her second innings proved to be a complete disaster. None of her films in her second innings, John Appa Ro and Okkamogdu gave her the desired push.

Simran later tried her hand in Television but her foray into the small screen was equally disastrous. Simran has now decided to quit acting and take up direction instead. She has got some scripts ready and is now trying to sign up heroes like Ajith and Vijay for her films.
