Allu Arjun launches MAA beneficial card

The Movie Artistes Association (MAA) is arranging Health Card to its members for the past four years. This year, the MAA had decided to give Apollo Hospital Health Card. A press meet was arranged at Apollo Hospital during the launch of the card, in which MAA president Nagababu, vice-president Srikanth, secretary Mallikarjuna Rao, writer Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, Apollo CEO Hariprasad participated. Allu Arjun who attended the programme as special guest launched the MAA health card.

Nagababu says, "The MAA launched the mediclaim card some four years ago. Different hospitals sponsored those cards during the past years. This year Apollo Hospital offered more facilities on the card and hence, we chose to sign an agreement with the hospital."

"It came to our notice that some of the members were misusing the card and some other were using the card for regular and routine check-up even if there was no urgency. We also request the members to use the card judiciously as the big stars are not availing the benefits on the card to facilitate the small artists to make best use of the card," he added.

Srikanth says, "The card will be useful anywhere in India, where there was an Apollo hospital."

Allu Arjun says, "This is a very good scheme and I appreciate the MAA for taking up a scheme, which is beneficial to all. I also sincerely request the members not to misuse the card."
