Ankusam getting ready for release

Directed and produced by Vijaykumar Reddy under the banner of Pakhya Celluloids, movie Ankusam is getting ready for release. Srinath, Ritesh, Sangeetha, Keerti Chawla and Anita are in the lead.

Producer cum director said, "It is the story of a mafia gang, which runs brothels with the help of some corrupt police officials. About six girls, after severe physical harassment, are dumped into drainage. Of them, three die and three others survive and get admitted to hospital in a critical condition. Based on the statement given by the girls and the clues given by them, a police officer makes efforts to nab the entire mafia gang and catches it. How he traces the mafia is the subject."

Anita, Uttej, Sriman, Jayaprakash Reddy, Rallapalli, Mallikarjuna Rao, Anandraj, Tirupati Prakash, Sriman, Vijayababu, Telangana Sakuntala and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Sahiti, music is by Maria Manohar, camera is by Abu Shah and Amar, editing is by M Shankar and K Itrish, while story, dialogues, screenplay, production and direction are by K Vijaykumar Reddy.
