Mani Ratnam's Ramayana in Ashokavanam

Ace director Mani Ratnam is now making a film based on Ramayana. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. The film has been titled as Ashokavanam in Telugu and Tamil and as Ravan in Hindi.

Vikram is playing the role of Ram and Aishwarya Bachchan will play the role of Sita in the Telugu and Tamil versions. Abhisekh Bachchan will play the role of Ram in Hindi. Priyamani is playing the role of Surpanakha. Prithviraj will play Ravana in the Telugu version and Vikram will play Ravan in the Hindi version.
